That's how many the best stories usually begin isn't it? Or maybe I'm thinking of the introduction to the weekly Puzzler on Car Talk.
On Saturday night I photographed the 36th Annual NYC Village Halloween Parade.
Anyway it was dark, and although it was not not quite stormy it was somewhat wet, ( that's today's understatement over and done with) all of which made for another interesting challenge along the lines of "finding images after dark".
I shot with two bodies, one with a 35mm lens and the other with an 85mm. I chose not to use flash, preferring to see and capture images that perhaps others were not seeing. I did find it it interesting to note that out of all the other photographers I saw photographing this event, other than myself I only observed one other, photographer, who was shooting without flash.
I still have to finish editing and processing the images from that night however I do have a few that I worked on yesterday morning that I can share with you.
